SKENE HOUSE HOTELSUITES: OUR TEAM IS YOUR TEAM
First impressions count, but seeing is believing
Among the first people you might speak to are Peter Medley, Director and General Manager, Sheryl Wootton - Sales Manager, Liz Gordon - Conference, Meetings and Groups Coordinator, Julie Inglis, Manager - Skene House Rosemount and ConferenceSuites, Jan Millard, Assistant Manager - Skene House Rosemount and ConferenceSuites.
Whomever you first talk to, along with finding out as much about your event that they can, will be keen to convey how impressive our conference and meeting rooms are and to tell you about how our team will work with you to turn your vision into reality. We will also invite you to visit Skene House ConferenceSuites for a tour of our meeting rooms and suites and to meet the team in person.
Tell us what you want, what you really, really want
Liz Gordon, Conference, Meetings and Groups Coordinator, will be the person responsible for developing the “Agreement” between us that will establish all facts and figures and provide the basis of your expectations, objectives and key success factors. The accuracy of the Agreement at any given time ensures that we are “all singing from the same hymn sheet”. It is essential that all team members know exactly what is required, and when these change, as they often do, that there is a system in place for communicating these efficiently and effectively to those involved in delivery. Liz is also the person who will assist in planning itineraries for the away from the conference room programmes e.g the field activities, golf tournament, visits to the castle and whisky distilleries, all of which are important to the success of your event.
Lights, camera, action
Julie Inglis, Manager and Jan Millard, Assistant Manager, will action every aspect that is in the Agreement. They will help to create the environment and atmosphere conducive to the style of your conference or meeting and to manage the production in accordance with your specifications including: selection of snacks and treats for your breakout sessions, creation of lunch menus, styling of room layouts and tabletop design.
