Business Tourism Scotland Conference 2013

I am delighted to have been chosen to speak at the Business Tourism Scotland Conference to be held in Glasgow on November 11th 2013.

The event will provide the opportunity for business tourism organisations to come together to share knowledge and make connections. Industry experts will give presentations on topics such as marketing and technology trends alongside 'local heroes' (like me!) who will tell their business story of what works for them in business tourism.

As the Digital Marketing Manager at Skene House HotelSuites, I will be talking about how our business has used digital marketing to engage with our guests and improve our service offering. It has been an exciting year for Skene House on the digital marketing front...going from just a few tweets to full blown social media campaigns, PPC Ads, SEO, link building, e-newsletters and online reputation management. All of which is helping us to attract and retain our guests and fundamentally engage with them and listen to their needs. As a service business, we understand that what we do online needs to be aligned and integrated with the 'offline' guest experience.
