Teen Skene recommends summer activities for kids

Kids Entertainment Aberdeen

Ask for William at Skene House Whitehall to accompany you on your travels around Aberdeen!

Where to send your younger siblings when you need a break!

Read on for Teen Skene's top tips for entertaining the little ones in the family.

KC Kangaroos situated in Berryden, is a great place to send your younger brother and sisters if you want blissful afternoon. Speaking from experience of going there from a young age, I know that young kids are sure to love this!

With the beautiful summer weather we had last weekend Aberdeen Beach esplanade has plenty of activities for kids of all ages.  Smugglers Cove at Codonas has a choice of 3 different play areas. There is also the Foam Factory, just a short walk from Smugglers Cove. This is a great play area with a different twist to it. Your siblings can play on 3 floors and shoot foam balls across the venue.

The Fun House is another great place for your younger siblings to go to get them out of your hair! Situated on Anderson Drive, not too far from the Skene House Apartments, it is very easy to access and will provide hours of fun. Connected to it is also a restaurant, “The Cocket Hat” where you can enjoy a nice meal after.

Although a bit out of the way, the “Soft Bear Play Centre” in Banchory is a superb kids play area. It is such a large place for your younger brother and sisters to play with numerous slides, tunnels and climbing contraptions.

Hope they enjoy their afternoon and you enjoy your child-free one!
