Activities for Families on Father's Day

Ideas for Father's Day in Aberdeen

It’s coming to that time of year where you will be beginning to decide what to do with your dad on Father’s Day. I have come up with some fun ideas that are sure to be enjoyed by dads and kids alike!

If you want to go all out, you could treat your dad to a weekend in Aberdeen staying at one of the Skene House HotelSuites! the serviced apartment style properties mean that the whole family can be in the same apartment unlike hotel rooms. With highly competitive weekend rates check out this link for any up and coming deals.

For those who enjoy Golf, there are many golf courses in Aberdeen that you could take your dad too. Some more expensive than others, such as the newly opened Donald Trump course beside Balmedie. There are also cheaper golf courses such as Hazlehead and The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre.

For those who enjoy adventures you and your dad could go go-karting at Kart Start in Aberdeen. This is a great family day out and is sure to be a right laugh and will allow your competitive streak to come out. However, as it is Fathers Day, don’t be too mean and beat your dad by miles!

There are also many nice restaurants that you could go to in the evening after your fun day out! For those who like Italians, you could go to Rusticos or Piccolos, both have great value for money! You could also try Dizzy’s on Carden Place.

Be sure to check previous blog posts for other things to do such as Codonas, bowling and many others. Hope you and your dads all have a great day!
