Skene House Whitehall raised £350 for Children in Need 2012

We are pleased to announce that our Children in Need fundraising campaign was a huge success.  The collection tin was overflowing and reached a total of £350 for the charity.

Karen Barbour, Manager of Skene House Whitehall commented: "Christine (Head Housekeeper) has been amazing; cooking, collecting money and organising everything.  We had 2 raffles and all prizes were donated by staff. Christine made soup and stovies for lunch and charged everyone £2, we also prepared orders of bacon rolls and cupcakes for the Central Reservations Team. Christine now has a new title -  'Queen of Charity'!

Karen also commented that the fundraising initiative was such an amazing team building exercise and everyone was really involved in raising money for such an important cause. We look forward to doing it all again next year.
