Teen Skene - An Evening at Union Square, Aberdeen
Looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and chill out in the evening? Head down to Union Square on Guild Street where there is something for everyone. With restaurants open until 11pm daily and the cinema open until the early hours in the morning (12am Sunday – Thursday and 2am on Friday and Saturday!) you’re sure to have a great time!
After a busy day shopping at Union Square, you can sit down, relax and watch the latest movie at Cineworld, Aberdeen’s largest cinema. With all the snacks you can imagine, combined with big screens and comfy seats, you are sure to unwind.
After (or indeed before) the cinema, there are a huge variety of restaurants, all of excellent quality and value for money. From pizza and pasta, to chicken and steak, there is food for every taste! But, remember, Union Square gets very busy so it is best to get down there in plenty time as there are usually queues out of every door, especially on the weekends!
TeenSkene recommends? Personal favourites of mine are TGI Fridays and Nando’s. The atmosphere of both the restaurants along with a huge choice and great tasting food definitely wins my vote hands down; both are great value for money and suitable for large groups, which is why my friends and I regularly catch up over delicious Peri-Peri Chicken and/or Chocolate Fudge Ice-Cream Sundae!
If it is your birthday, TGI’s is the place to be, not only will they make you go red in the face singing to you (and occasionally making you stand on your chair) in front of the whole restaurant, but they also give you a complimentary chocolate cake!
